We are posting this information about the hotel we reserve for our Festival.  We hope you will find this blog and the information it contains to be helpful. We will be providing more information as the time progress, but for now we have posted driving and walking directions from different points to the Hotel.  For those of you who wanted to check the hotel on the internet, could easily google Doubletree hotel at Crystal City Arlington, Va.  Please e-mail us with any questions you may have and here is the adrress and tel. no. to reserve.

Directions from Maryland

From Maryland (Rockville, Gaithersburg…) & I-270 (North), PA, OH...

From I-270 North take I-495 South into Virginia.  Exit on the George Washington Memorial Parkway

in Virginia.  Travel about 10 miles South and exit at Reagan National Airport in Arlington, VA.  At the airport stay on your right side and follow sign to Crystal City, VA and then you want to exit at Crystal Drive.  Take Crystal Drive North for approximately one mile.  Crystal Drive will turn left into 12^th Street; go under the overpass and make a right onto Army/Navy Drive.  The hotel is located on the right hand side:

From Annapolis, MD (Route 50) and the Eastern Shore of Maryland

Take Route 50 (West) towards the direction of Washington, D.C.  Follow Route 50 which becomes

New York Avenue.  Take New York Avenue to 14^th Street and the 14^th Street Bridge.  On the 14^th Street Bridge you need to be in the far left lane.  (14^th Street becomes Route One South) which will bring you into Crystal City, VA.  Your first exit once inside Crystal City will be 15^th Street.  Make a right onto 15^th Street– go one block and make a right onto Eads Street.  Take Eads to Army Navy Drive (about 3 blocks).  When you get to Army Navy Drive– make a right – the hotel is on the right hand side:  300 Army/Navy Drive.

Directions from Virginia

From Route 66 – Northern Virginia (Fairfax, McLean, and Tyson’s Corner)…

Take 66 East towards Washington.  Take the exit for 110 South.  Stay in the center lane and 110 becomes Route One South which will bring you into Crystal City, VA.  On Route One – make a right onto 20^th Street.  Go one block and make a right onto Eads Street.  Eads will take you all the way to Army/Navy Drive (about 8 blocks).  When you reach Army/Navy Drive– make a right and the hotel is on the right hand side:  300 Army Navy Drive.

From the South:  (Shirlington Neighborhood in Arlington, Richmond, VA Beach, North Carolina, S. Carolina….)

Take I-95 North to 395 North.  From 395 North – take the Pentagon City/Crystal City Exit.  Then turn left onto Army/Navy Drive.  The hotel will be on the right side.  (Three blocks down):  300 Army Navy Drive.

DIRECTIONS FROM WASHINGTON, D.C.

From Washington, D.C. (14^th Street Bridge)

From Washington, D.C.  You need to exit to the 14^th Street Bridge which will take you over the Potomac River from Washington, D.C. to Crystal City, VA.  On the 14^th Street Bridge you will need to be in the far left lane.  (14^th Street becomes Route One South) which will take you into Crystal City, VA.  Your first exit once inside Crystal City will be 15^th Street.   Take 15^th Street– go one block and make a right onto

Eads Street.  Take Eads all the way to the Army Navy Drive (about 3 blocks).           

From Washington, D.C. (395 South)

Take 395 South from Washington, D.C. across the Potomac River.  The Doubletree Hotel is in Crystal City directly across from Washington, D.C.  When on 395 South – remain to the left as you are crossing the river.  The first exit as you are crossing the river will be Route One South (Alexandria).  Route One will bring you directly into Crystal City.  Stay on Route One in Crystal City.  Watch for 15^th Street on your right.  Make a right onto 15^th Street– go a block and make a right onto Eads Street.  Take Eads all the way to

Army Navy Drive (about 3 blocks).  Make a right onto Army Navy Drive.  The hotel is on the right hand side.  (300 Army Navy Drive).

From Washington, D.C.  (Georgetown)

Take M Street in Georgetown across Key Bridge which will take you into Rosslyn, Virginia.  After crossing Key Bridge stay immediately to the right and you want to turn left at the third light (which is Lee Highway).  Go through the light for 66 East and take exit 75 for 110 South.  Stay on Route 110 South for 4 miles, and then take the Pentagon City/Washington exit which will put you onto Army Navy Drive.  Make a U Turn and the hotel is on your right side.  (300 Army Navy Drive).

Directions from Local Airports

Directions from: Ronald Reagan National Airport (2 miles/10 minutes)

From Ronald Reagan National Airport take the Crystal City exit.  Exit Crystal Drive.  Take Crystal Drive North for approximately one mile.  Crystal Drive turns into 12^th Street.  When you are on 12^th Street
– go under the overpass and veer to the right and the hotel is on the right hand side.    300 Army Navy Drive

Directions from:  Washington Dulles International Airport

From Washington Dulles International Airport take the Dulles Access Road towards the direction of Washington, D.C.  Take 66 East to 110 South.  Stay in the center lane and 110 becomes Route One South.  This will take you into Crystal City which is located in Arlington, VA.   In Crystal City make a right onto 15^th Street.  Then make a right onto Eads Street and travel three blocks and make a right onto Army Navy Drive.  The hotel street address:  300 Army Navy Drive.

Directions from North:  (Baltimore, Philadelphia, Wilmington, New York, New Jersey) and (Baltimore Washington International Airport – BWI Airport).—50 miles/90 minutes).

Follow I-95 South to 495 Beltway in the direction of Richmond, VA.  I-95 splits at the Capital Beltway; continue to follow signs for I-95 South.  Follow I-95 South across the Woodrow Wilson Bridge into Virginia.  Take the first exit off the Woodrow Wilson Bridge in Alexandria, Virginia to Route One North.  Stay on Route One North (which is also called Jefferson Davis Highway) for approximately six miles.  Stay on Route One North until you get to 23^rd Street in Crystal City, VA.  Make a left onto 23^rd Street
– go one block and make a right onto Eads Street.  Take Eads Street to Army/Navy Drive(about 10 blocks).  Make a right onto Army/Navy Drive.  The hotel is on the right hand side. 

Walking Directions

FROM

Crystal City Metro

When you exit the Crystal City Metro you will see 18^th Street to your right. 

Make a right onto 18^th Street and walk a block and you will see Eads Street. 

Make a right onto Eads Street and walk about 6 blocks until you get to Make a right onto Army Navy Drive and you will see the Doubletree Hotel Crystal City on your right.

Pentagon City Metro

Pentagon City Mall

(About a 10 minute walk)

When you exit the Pentagon City Metro you will be on South Hayes Street right in front of the Pentagon City Fashion Centre Mall.  Make a left onto South Hayes Street.  Pass in front of the shopping mall and walk along South Hayes Street until you reach Macy’s which faces Army Navy Drive.   Make a right onto Army Navy Drive and walk three blocks and you will reach the Doubletree Hotel on the Right Side of Army Navy Drive.
